I am writing to recommend the supply of Nurse Call systems and services of Comtel Technologies.
In 2006 our regional Health Care Service employed Comtel to install new Nurse Call systems into our Acute Services and one of three of our aged care facilities. In 2012 we replaced the exiting nurse call in the remaining two Aged Care facilities with the Comtel system.
As the Facilities Manager our organisation and I have been working with Comtel for the last fifteen years installing, upgrading and expanding our systems. This includes hardwired and wireless nurse call and Television Interface.
Comtel offer quality systems and service and our organisation continues to engage Comtel Technologies in a Preventative Maintenance agreement.
As Director of Property and Infrastructure of a major Victorian regional Health services organisation I have had the pleasure to have Comtel as our nurse call contractor for the last 13 years. Comtel has always supported and responded to our needs in a timely and appropriate manner. The team at Comtel display a good attention to detail and their professionalism is always to the highest standards.
In my role as Facility Services Manager for two major Victorian Aged Care groups over the last 16 years Comtel have been the preferred contractor at both companies for Nurse Call, telephony and access control.
In last ten years we have built four new aged care facilities ranging in size from 68 beds to 120 beds.
Comtel have been the preferred contractor for all four sites whereby the service, professional attitude and meeting of deadlines were all achieved with no issues.
Given my role requires me to be available 24/7 there has never been a time Comtel have not been available and have always rectified the issue at hand.
With technology constantly changing Comtel have always kept me updated with the latest equipment on the market along with any advice I seek from time to time.
Given the relationship with Comtel has been over sixteen years the service, knowledge and product has always been maintained at high level of consistency.
Sixteen years is a long time given the competitiveness of the industry but at no time have I ever considered changing contractors and why should I if Comtel are ticking the boxes.
It has been a pleasure dealing with Comtel. As IT manager I have dealt with a variety of companies to ensure our systems continue to remain operational. Over the last eight years I have seen many technicians come and go and their capabilities and knowledge in the systems they support vary greatly. Not so however with Comtel, I deal with the same technicians and support staff as I did when I started with the company. Their knowledge and friendly approach to my needs is second to none.

I was very impressed with the way he explained how my intercom works whilst he was installing it and his exceptional manners as well as cleaning up any mess that was made is to be commended.
